God gathers us as a family of Faith to nurture, inspire and share the love of Jesus with all people.
Faith Lutheran Church was established in 1963 through the merger of two Lutheran churches in Spicer - Sharon Lutheran, a Swedish congregation, and Zion Lutheran, a Norwegian congregation. Faith’s first building was completed in 1967 on Lake Avenue. After outgrowing that facility, a new facility was built in 2001 on the North end of Spicer, West of Hwy 23. The first worship service at this facility was held in February of 2002. In 2008 Phase II of the building was completed.
In 2017, a congregational survey was taken and from that a visioning committee met and determined who we are today at Faith and where we feel God is leading us. As a result of the surveys, our visioning committee made recommendations to the church council to change our Vision and Mission Statement along with some short and long-term goals for our congregation. We are excited to see how God works in making these become a reality for our mission and ministry!
