Worship services at Faith Lutheran Church are centered on Word and Sacrament.
Our worship services feature a wide range of traditional and contemporary music.
During the school year our worship schedule is:
We encourage children to be a part of our worship, offering a children’s message and kid-friendly activity bags. We also have a nursery for children ages 3 and under. If your children are having a difficult day, you are welcome to step into the large gathering area where you can still hear the service.
We enjoy a special relationship with our partner in ministry, Green Lake Lutheran Ministries (GLLM). GLLM is a corporation of over 200 Lutheran churches that provides youth and adult ministry in a camp setting.
Memorial Day through Labor Day, Faith Lutheran Church provides a service at the Green Lake Bible Camp Chapel located across from the shores of Green Lake in Spicer.
The Stave chapel was built in 1940 by Peter Nasvik and is modeled in the style of Norwegian stave architecture. This worship service is provided as an outreach to summer visitors and as a way to promote the Bible Camp and its mission.
We encourage involvement from lay people in our services. Sign up to help with greeting, ushering, reading scripture, serving communion, working in the Audio Visual room, or to prepare coffee for fellowship.
The Chancel Choir is open to Grade 10 through adult. The choir meets for practice each Wednesday evening and sings in worship according to their schedule. The choir also puts on special performances throughout the year…musicals have included “Joseph” and “Lutheran Radio Hour”. They also put on an annual “Concert of the Year”.
During the school year:
Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., students (3yrs - 5th grade) meet in classrooms grouped by grade. They share songs in worship monthly during the school year and also present a Christmas Children's Service in December.
Wednesday evenings our Seeds & Sprouts gather from 6:35 p.m. - 7:35 p.m. This is a large group format for ages Pre-K through 5th Grade.
