The Children’s Ministry Team, CMT, originally started as a group of Sunday school volunteers who would meet to briefly go over the next Sunday school lesson, while we still do this it has evolved into so much more!
We have started discussing much further into the lesson.
It is a very open discussion.
We are empowering people to become leaders. Call James Lucas our Children, Youth & Family Ministry Director to find out when
this group will meet each month.
Please join us if you have ever had an interest in being part of our Sunday school program, or just come and check it out. If you have any questions please contact our James Lucas at firstname.lastname@example.org or 796.2522.
Our Sunday school program offers Christian education opportunities for kids ages 3 years through 9th grade. It begins the second Sunday in September and runs through the school year until mid-May from 9:30am-10:30am. We use a variety of developmentally appropriate curriculum for our kids. We also have a weekly Sunday School offering, which goes towards our yearly offering emphasis. Past recipients include Heifer International, the local food shelf, Habitat for Humanity, and Tuesday's Table.
Caterpillars, Cocoons, and Butterflies
For our 3-5 year olds we offer songs, stories, crafts and snacks centered around Bible stories. Children are supervised by adult volunteers and we use an age-appropriate curriculum that is custom-designed for Faith Lutheran.
All our grades 1 - 4 go to the same classroom each week and have 2-4 teachers that rotate each week. This gives our kids a chance to build relationships with their teachers. They learn through a variety of mediums: storytelling, games, food, science, art, drama/music, and movies.
Let's CONNECT! We begin with snacks & music, then we gather for games, a Bible search, activities and discussion. Come join us!
