Our Services Include: 
  • Assessment to determine immediate needs and short/long term goals.
  • Advocacy and referral to ensure all available resources are being accessed.
  • Identify other unmet needs and coordinate informal resources to address those.
  • Provide opportunities for people to get involved in sharing their gifts with others.
  • Coordination of special projects to assist people in the community.
  • A faith based response to the needs in our community.

How Can You Get Involved:
  • The success of The Link hinges on the involvement of community members.  We will help you identify areas of interest that fit your gifts and schedule.

  • Partnership with Willmar Area Food Shelf for New London location
  • Household item distribution events
  • Specialized clothing distribution

  • Community goods & services exchange
  • Laundry facilities
  • Education/Training experiences 

Goals of The Link include:
  • Help people access community resources through relationships and advocacy with service agencies.
  • Identify gaps in services to people in need, and engage community members in using their resources to address these needs.
  • Empower low-income people to build and sustain their own social, economic and spiritual well-being.
  • Increase community awareness about the reality of poverty in our community.

The role of The Link is to coordinate and facilitate an informal response to meeting the needs of people in the New London-Spicer area.  Our work is grounded in God's unflagging commitment to people who are poor and oppressed, articulated by the prophets and embodied in the life of Jesus.

Main Street in New London;  Same building as the food shelf (old ACMC clinic)

Tuesdays 2:00pm-6:00pm

Thursdays 10:00am-2:00pm
